STPG – SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS SONEPAR ITALIA SPA IN THE ACQUISITION OF CIOFFIRENATO SRL

  • Milan, 28 July 2022 – Sonepar Italia S.p.A. (Sonepar Italia), a leading company in the distribution of electrical material in Italy with 160 sales outlets in 17 regions and part of the international Sonepar Group, has acquired the share capital of the Apulian company CioffiRenato Srl (CioffiRenato), a historic firm founded in 1974 and active in the wholesale and retail distribution of electrical material.
  • Sonepar Italia, a company that closed the year 2021 with a consolidated turnover of 1.1 billion euros and a growth of +40% on 2020, is now present in Puglia with 6 sales outlets and, thanks to this acquisition, strengthens its presence in the region.
  • In the transaction, Sonepar Italia was assisted by STPG, through STPG – Scouting Capital Advisors, as financial advisor, with a team led by Executive Director Attilio Conta. As far as legal advisory is concerned, Sonepar Italia was assisted by Studio Legale Pavia & Ansaldo.
